Vincent P. Nolan was born March 8, 1948 in New York City. He joined the United States Army in 1968 and served until 1971, when he was honorably discharged.

He traveled west and attended the University of New Mexico from 1971 to 1976, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Economics and History. Then it was on to Sacramento, California where he attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, from 1976 to 1979, receiving a Juris Doctorate Degree.

After graduating from law school, he was employed with the Law Firm of Kinkle, Rodiger and Spriggs, in Riverside, California from 1979 to 1980 doing insurance defense litigation. He then joined the Law Firm of Thompson and Colegate, in Riverside, California from 1980 to 1982, doing insurance defense litigation.

In 1982, he joined the Riverside County District Attorney's Office as a Deputy District Attorney,  prosecuting various misdemeanor and felony cases. He remained with the District Attorney's Office for the next three years.

In 1985, Vincent opened his private law practice in Riverside, California, specializing in employment litigation and has remained in private practice since that time, representing employees in employment-related litigation cases.

He is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer at various events and seminars on the subject of Employment Law, speaking on behalf of  California Employment Lawyers Association,  California Employers Group, California Continuing Education of the Bar, various Bar Associations and other groups.

He has tried in excess of 75 jury trials to completion in the courts of Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He is an active member of the California Bar Association, the Riverside County Bar Association and the California Employment Lawyers Association and is admitted to practice law before the State and Federal Courts in California.

Vincent and his wife have lived in Riverside, California since 1979, they have two adult children and two grandchildren.
